Waterproof or water-repellent - which trolley bag do you need?

Water-repellent bags have a certain resistance to moisture but are not completely waterproof. This makes them ideal for daily use.

They withstand light rain or splash water, providing sufficient protection for your personal items when you are, for example, going to work or shopping.

At the same time, water-repellent bags have another advantage: they are more breathable than waterproof bags. This allows some moisture to escape to the outside, which is useful if, for instance, you are transporting damp clothing—such as after sports or a day at the pool.

As a rule, water-repellent bags are lighter than waterproof bags due to the material used. This can be a decisive factor if weight is an important consideration for you.
