Instructions: This is how your Andersen Shopper becomes a Bicycle Trailer

To fix your Andersen Shopper on a bicycle, you need two components:

  1. The right coupling stud for the Shopper
  2. The right coupling for your bicycle

1. The appropriate coupling stud

  • Coupling stud SH-1

    The SH-1 coupling stud is suitable for the following frames with two bars:

    • Scala Shopper

Cycling is great: it's healthy, environmentally friendly and very inexpensive. The bicycle is the ideal means of transportation for everyday life, but also for sports, excursions and even vacations.

Especially in the city and in urban areas, the bicycle is unbeatable. It is always available and gets you to your destination very quickly, often faster than a car or public transport.

However, the bike has one disadvantage: you can't transport very much on it. A week's shopping for a family is not manageable with the transport capacity of the carrier and perhaps a rucksack.

Andersen offers the ideal solution to this problem. Many of the Andersen Shoppers can be equipped with a specially developed coupling system and then serve as practical bicycle trailers.

The larger bag models offer sufficient storage space from just under 50 to a maximum of 74 liters. And all bike trailer frames can carry either a 40 or 50 kg load.

This means you are perfectly equipped for small and large errands, or trips to the park, forest or swimming pool. You can also transport various sports equipment with the Andersen bicycle trailer.

Using your Andersen Shopper as a bicycle trailer offers you significant advantages over conventional cargo bikes. You can continue to use your bike flexibly as a means of transportation, even without the trailer. And if you use your Andersen Shopper as a bicycle trailer, the luggage rack still remains free for the use of child seats or panniers.

Easy to store

And you never have to search for a parking space. You don't need a garage at home, either, because the Andersen Shopper is easy to store. Most of the Shoppers can be folded up small and from all of them the bag can easily be removed. This allows you to store the shopper at home quickly and in a small place.
